MOVING!!!

I'll be moving out of this dump/hole/whatever on 3rd of June. I just love the idea of having all the space for myself. I can use the kitchen whenever I like, I can stay in the toilet in the morning as long as I like. I can sleep naked with my door open. The best of all, I can take shower and take dumps with the door openned. HOW NEAT!

Want to try some cooking once I settled-in in my new place.. wherever it will be. I'm just sick of outside food for the moment. I don't think Most asian food here taste the same. Some taste ok, most of them really bad. Western food's expensive and all.

I actually want to be a part time cook or at least someone who can cook really well. So far, there are 2 people praised my cooking skill. Joseph and Sad man thought I'm pretty good at cooking dumplins and instant pasta packs. Yeah, there's just so much skill required to cook those stuff -_-... Well, if I start cooking, I want to add red/white wine and stuff when cooking the meat and all. Since the food will be consumed all by myself, I might as well add something nice.. haha.

KICK ASS

Had a basketball competition last night. I was already piss-weak prior to the game because I stayed up until 4:30 am to do some freaken' assignment. In a 40 min game, I managed to run full strength in the first 10 min or so. We didn't have substitution on the bench, I was really out of wind when the game continued... but I held on to the last min. Scored 8 points and only missed 1 shot. That was pretty good performance considered I was half dead and I didn't get much chance to shoot because Brian was hogging the ball.

Stupid ref didn't call for a lot of fouls by the other team. Maybe he's too old... probably a pedophile (so Chris said... ) so I won't worry too much about his inability to ref a basketball game properly.

EVER AFTER

I called my cousin last night. She just got married in Hawaii not too long ago and now's having her honey moon in Taiwan (yeah, you got it right.. Taiwan)She married to a piano man from.. uh.. I think Kansas City. I was so happy to hear from her again, but at the same time, it feels weird 'cos she's not much older than I am, I think she's just a year older. The dude's heaps older.. haha.

I also called my little cousin in New York last night but she didn't get to answer the phone. That cousin's way cool, even though now she does pot occasionally, have more tattoo than I do (I want to out-tattoo her.. haha) and has more holes on her face than a golf course.

Downloaded a cover version of B.E King's "Stand by me" earlier today. It was a live version performed by U2 and Bruce Springsteen. I immediately fell in love with that song (that particular version) after listening to it the first time. It's a beautiful song that would left you feeling warm and fuzzy.

Even though I like to be alone sometimes to clear my mind, it is always nice to have someone who I can depend on. Pity that a lot of those people ain't reading this weblog right now. Well, I just want to thank them, God Bless y'all!!!

I always wanted to be there for my friends, even those ones I'm not really close to. I wish I can also be there for people who I don't know, or those ones have pissed me off bad before. (well, I'm still working on it)

"Good Riddance (Time of your life)" by Green Day: well, it's not exactly a classic but I hope it will be. Well, you know, life's up and down and all that shit... just some same old cliche'... but no, for me, it's about there are some points in life that you are able to take a step back, tune the volume of the world down, and use that moment to do some reflection, or just enjoy whatever's in front of you.

"From a distance" by Bette Midler: It's a special song for me. It's one of the first english songs I've learnt when I was in L.A. 12 years ago. (No, I'm not talking about consider "old McDonalds had a farm" kind of songs). For me, that song's about: if we can take a look at the whole picture of the world, or look at things in a longer time span, then what we are fighting for might be meaningless, might be stupid. A lot of wars in middle age don't make much sense to me.

OLYMPIC DREAM

Ok, it's baseball time for me again. This time, is Taiwan V.S Korea/Japan/China. Tomorrow, it will be Taiwan V.S. Korea. I really hope Taiwan can kick some asses since Korean & Japanese people do look down on us.

I don't get why so many Taiwanese kids are into Korean and Japanese culture (will, mostly Japanese). From my opinion, Jap and Koreans tried too hard in dressing themselves up in weird ways... but if people really want to dress like shit like japs and koreans, I guess it's their personal preference. if they think it looks good (uh... yeah, whatever) it's just their own bad taste that's all. I'm even alright with hello kitty and all. some of those stuff toys can be cute to some people (uh... yeah). What annoys the living shxt outta me is the fact that some people wish they are Japanese or Korean!!! They praise Jap or Kimchi culture like crazy, They add some, if not all japanese in their daily conversation (not so much of korean), they think japanese/korean are the coolest bunch on Earth.

That's just BULLSHIT!!!

I was reading a message board for taiwanese baseball. I read a message about how koreans are much better than taiwanese people: from korea's more technologically advanced, korean economy's better than Taiwan and that person even go as far as korean people's ethic/moral standard is higher than taiwan people... blah blah blah... NOW, taiwan's development in computer technology's one of the best in the world, korea's economy sucks like crap, the world was going through a recession, asian region got hit hard... not only taiwan was performing badly, but korea got torched pretty badly as well. as for moral standards...hey, dude, korean people do fart, you know?! korean people are as racist as nazi, they cheated in sports. I can go on and on...

Not that I don't hate korean and japanese people. I really don't, I'm just pointing out that everyone has their weaknesses...

 Now, I'm worried that the umpire of tomorrow's game won't be fair to taiwanese team as to all the sporting events envolving japan and korea.
